St Wilfrid's
Parish Church Davenham

Dear Friends,

A warm welcome to the website of St Wilfrid’s Church, Davenham,  especially  over this  Christmas  Season.

We have lots going on to join in with: our usual 9am All Age Service with a difference – which is a lot less formal and particularly suitable for families and younger people, and our 10am Classic Service, and many other things as well.

Please see the link outlining our special Christmas Tree Festival and our  Christmas Services (note the morning  Service  on  22nd, 29th  December  and  5th  January will be just one mixed style service  at 10am)

We always want to be a warm,  welcoming church  because we believe in the Living God of love who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit who calls us all to know and enjoy His love.

So a really warm welcome to join us for our Christmas specials.  We want them to speak of the life changing,  love giving, welcoming God who  despite  the difficulties of life shows us that in Jesus  - the Light of the world has come.

I wish you every blessing  for this Christmas season and  for  2025

“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news  of great joy  joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord’ (Luke 2:10b-11)

With love,

Rob
(Rector-  St Wilfrids, Davenham)
