Dear all,
We are extremely saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A remarkable lady of Christian faith, who was our faithful, loyal, dedicated Queen for so many decades, who loved her family, and her nation and Commonwealth. However much we think we may have been prepared for her passing, it is still for so many extremely shocking.
We give thanks to God for Her majesty's life and reign and all she brought to our nation, Commonwealth and relationships in the wider world. The Queen leaves an important legacy. She will be hugely missed. Of great comfort is her faith in the Lord Jesus and we leave her in His loving care now.
We pray for all affected by this news but especially the Royal Family and especially her very immediate family, and all this now means for them. And of course, we uphold in prayer, and we honour, our new King Charles III. Pray for peace, comfort, courage and strength for him as our new Monarch. God save the King!
There are three Services this coming Sunday (18 September) - all are paying tribute to the life, faith and reign of Queen Elizabeth II and praying for our new King Charles IIII
with love,
Rob
