Remembrance Sunday 2023 Dear Friends,
We are very conscious of conflict past and very sadly, going on in our world today. Our thoughts and prayers are for all those affected by war and oppression. On 12 November - Remembrance Sunday - we have a special ‘Remembrance themed Service’ at St Wilfrid's at 9:30am (please note there is no 11am All Age Service - for Remembrance Sunday) There is also a formal Remembrance Service at 10:45 at Davenham War Memorial (the church bells will be for rung in tribute for this). We give thanks to all who make a difference - in times of conflict fighting for freedom, and those ‘heroes’ of today stepping up to make a difference. We pay our respects with grateful hearts.
