Dear Friends,
In the light of the new lockdown and recognising current conditions we feel it is best if there are no services and other Church associated activities happening at St Wilfrid’s, Davenham until further notice.
As we continue to seek to live responsibly amid Covid-19 we are again finding huge lifestyle challenges and changes. You may be finding these times particularly wearying. However, we do want to encourage you in these difficult times. Hold onto confidence in the love and strength of the Living God of love who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the God who cares about each and every one of us.
‘The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge’ (Psalm 18:2)
Over these weeks we’ll continue to help people feel as connected as possible. We will hold Sunday Zoom Services - there will be some formal services, and also informal services which are especially suitable for younger people. We will also resume our fortnightly Wednesday evening Zoom prayer meetings.
If you’d like to be on the mailing list to get information and links to any of these please let me know. Please also see the link to ‘Words of Encouragement’ and some recorded services to encourage spiritual focus.
With love,
Rob (Rector, St Wilfrid's, 6 January 2021)
