Dear Friends,
A warm welcome to the website of St Wilfrid’s Church, Davenham, especially over this Christmas Season. We have lots going on to join in with: our usual 9:30 am classic service and a 11:00 am All Age Service with a difference – which is a lot less formal and particularly suitable for families and younger people, and many other things as well. Please see the Christmas Service page outlining our Christmas Specials (with some time changes on 25 December and 1st and 8th January). Life isn’t easy at this time for so many people - but we always want to be a warm, welcoming church because we believe in the Living God of love who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit who calls us all to know and enjoy His love. So a really warm welcome to join us for our Christmas specials. We want them to speak of the life changing, love giving, welcoming God who despite the difficulties of life shows us that in Jesus - the Light of the world has come. I wish you very blessing for this Christmas season and for 2023. “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy joy that will be for all the people.
